U15 thru U19 TEAMS – LEAGUE FACTS

REGISTRATION LINKS:
LEAGUE REGISTRATION FEE: U15-U19 Teams incur a single season league registration fee that is charged once for the seasonal year for participation in our league.
NJYS ROSTERING FEES: The NJYS Rostering fee is another fee required for NJYS player rostering. The league collects this fee for all NJ teams who are registering with our league as their primary league. Teams are required to be present NJYS at each CJYSA league match as verification of governing affiliation of the match. Under 11v11, ALL NJ PLAYERS MUST BE CARDED NJYS. NJYS cost for the player passes is covered below.
REMINDER: Even though CJYSA will charge the rostering fee, all teams (NJ and out of state teams) registering with CJYSA are still required to also register for the NJYS Roster Registration. NJYS Official Roster registration will open the first week in August 2012. Teams will need to register their rosters with NJYS through Got Soccer at that time. If you have registered and paid the league fees, the league will approve your NJYS roster via Got Soccer.
Our organization recognizes two governing bodies for league play-CJYSA league, affiliated with NJYS and USCL league affiliated with US CLUB Soccer. This means, teams participating under CJYSA must use USYSA affiliated passes, and those participating under USCL must use US CLUB passes.
This year, U15-U19 teams will register for the two different leagues and have two distinct schedules for the leagues. League criteria requires ALL NJ TEAMS MUST play a CJYSA SCHEDULE! However, all teams will have a USCL/MAPS schedule.
REMEMBER-ALL TEAMS MUST carry both USYSA (NJYS/EPYSA/DYSA) and US Club Soccer passes.
NEW YORK TEAMS LOOKING TO QUALIFY FOR ENYYSA State Cup: ENYYSA requires NY teams play in a NY league to qualify for their ENYYSA State Cup. Our partnership with Westchester Youth Soccer League and Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League permits teams to qualify in a NY league in a MAPS flight and also register with our league for MAPS games. Be sure to register in the appropriate league for you: Westchester Youth Soccer League or Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League
PAYMENT: PLEASE ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS on the application as accurately as possible. You are charged based upon the answer to the questions. Out of State teams DO NOT purchase NJYS rostering. Out of State teams will register with NJYS directly for their out of state rostering.
We will charge you any outstanding forfeit fines or referee fees that may be due. YOUR REGISTRATION FEE WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AND SENT TO YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY UNTIL THIS IS DONE. You will know its been done once your application is approved.
U15 teams: We are offer a full fall season for those teams who do not have high school programs at that age group. The season will open September 15/16, 2012. Teams may opt to play a full fall season and spring (full year); or the traditional of the late fall and early spring, or just spring. We hope to have enough teams to put together a group.
2013-2014 LEAGUE REGISTRATION FEES:
U-15 THRU U-19: $295.00 for seasonal year-short fall and spring season U15-U19 play 11 v. 11
(U15-U19 roster 22 max - dress 18 for game day; 25 ROSTER MAXIMUM for year-this means that if you roster 22, and lose 5 players, you can only add 3 more players. You can add no more than a total of 25 players during a seasonal year of 8/1-7/31)
FORFEIT BOND: Our one time forfeit bond is applicable to all teams. This is a One-time fee of $300. The fee carries over season to season. Fee will be returned to team upon departure from the league or when you age out, whichever comes first. You will be charged the one time forfeit bond as part of the electronic registration. You are required to check off that you have read the League Forfeit Bond Policy on your application. Read the League Forfeit Bond policy here.
Who must pay the Forfeit Bond? All new teams must purchase a $300 one time bond.
NJYS PLAYER TEAM ROSTER FEES: APPLICABLE TO NJ TEAMS ONLY
U15-19 ONLY - $200.00 FULL SIDED 22 ROSTER - 22 passes will be sent team managers as listed on the application-be sure to include mailing address & correct email
Full Payment by credit card must be made for your application to be complete. We accept VISA and Mastercard only.
FEES will be pended to each team when registering online. We will remove the NJYS rostering charge for out of state teams and any team that indicates on their application they will not primary card with our league.
Our CJYSA league is affiliated with NJYS and ALL U15 through U19 New Jersey players are REQUIRED to obtain NJYS Player PASSES for participation in our league. If you are a New Jersey team, and we are your primary or only league, you must purchase your NJYS pass packet through our league. Do not permit your club registrar to obtain passes through another league! You are registering for ROSTER AFFILIATION, NOT PASSES! If they register you with another league to get passes, that is your primary league!
If you are playing in another league and they are your primary league, you should purchase your packet through that league and indicate same when completing our application.
Be very careful when indicating whether we are your primary league or not. The league you choose as your primary league will be the league through which you register your NJYS roster. Use the drop down screen to select one of the available option.
You WILL need to register for league play to receive passes and ALSO register your roster with NJYS under Got Soccer. Only those teams that register with the league and are paid in full for their league fees and NJYS team fee will receive a player passes and be accepted through the GOT SOCCER team roster registration through our league affiliation.
ONLY NJ teams will be charged a NJYS Team Roster Fee.
OUT OF STATE TEAMS
Out of state teams should read our separate section for Out of State teams HERE and their process for team rosters. Any out of state team looking to qualify for USYSA National/State Cup through our league MUST follow the rules set forth, which require the purchase of an out of state roster from NJYS, completing it and having it validated PRIOR to the start of our league season. Failure to do so will result in your team not qualifying for your respective state cup and our games being recorded as forfeit wins for your opponents. Please keep in mind rostering numbers when registering and that all rosters U15 and older may roster up to 22 active players. Your state roster must match the out of state roster and is considered your league roster under NJYS rules.
US CLUB SOCCER PASSES

NJ TEAMS REGISTERING WITH US CLUB SOCCER:
Our USCL league games are affiliated with US CLUB Soccer. All U15-U19 teams will participate in our USCL league using US CLUB soccer passes.
If you are a NJ team whose players are all registered to other NJYS teams so that you cannot create a NJYS roster, you can play USCL games ONLY. You are required to submit copies of all players 2013/2014 NJYS passes with the other teams in order to have a schedule.
U15-U19 New Jersey teams interested in playing under US CLUB governance (and obtaining US CLUB passes) may do so, but cannot play USCL only.
OUT OF STATE TEAMS
Teams from other states other than NJ may card US Club Only and play a USCL only league schedule. Out of State teams shall follow the process for carding US Club Soccer.
