U7 thru U19 TEAMS – LEAGUE FACTS
Registration Fees as they apply to each age group:
Teams incur a league registration fee that is charged each season to participate in our league.
This is separate and distinct from the NJYS player pass packets or US CLUB player passes that are required to be presented at each league match as verification of governing affiliation of the match. Information on purchasing the player passes is explained below.
Our league recognizes two governing bodies for league play-CJYSA affiliated with NJYS and USCL affiliated with US CLUB. This means, teams participating under CJYSA must use USYSA affiliated passes, and those participating under USCL should use US CLUB passes.
2009-2010 LEAGUE REGISTRATION FEES:
U-7 THRU U-8: $110.00 each season (fall/spring)
U-9 THRU U-11: $135.00 each season (fall/spring)
U-12 THRU U-14: $185.00 each season (fall/spring)
U-15 THRU U-19: $195.00 for seasonal year-short fall and spring season
FORFEIT BOND: Our one time forfeit bond is ONLY Applicable for U12 and older teams – One time fee of $250. The fee carries over season to season. Fee will be returned to team upon departure from the league or when you age out, which ever comes first. You will be charged the one time forfeit bond as part of the electronic registration.
New teams must purchase a $250 one time bond; as well as entering U12 teams (new and returning).
NJYS PLAYER PASS PACKET FEES: APPLICABLE TO NJ TEAMS ONLY
U11-16 ONLY – $145.00 FULL SIDED – 18 player roster
U17-19 ONLY - $175.00 FULL SIDED PLUS - 22 player roster (only available for U17 and older teams)
Full Payment by credit card must be made for your application to be complete. We accept VISA and Mastercard only.
Player Packets must be purchased through the online registration ONLY. Our CJYSA league is affiliated with NJYS and ALL U11 and older New Jersey players are REQUIRED to obtain NJYS Player PASSES for participation in our league. If you are a New Jersey team, and we are your primary or only league, you
must purchase your NJYS pass packet through our league.
If you are playing in another league and they are your primary league, you should purchase your packet through that league and indicate same when completing our application.
Be very careful when indicating whether you need a NJYS packet; use the drop down screen to select one of the available options: 18 player roster packet; 22 player roster packet; purchased packet through another league; or N/A not a NJ team.
You WILL need to register for league play to receive a packet. Only those teams that register with the league and are paid in full for their league fees and NJYS packet fee will receive a player pass packet.
ONLY NJ teams must purchase the NJYS Player Pass Packet.
Out of state teams should read our separate section for Out of State teams HERE and what they need to do. Any out of state team looking to qualify for USYSA National/State Cup through our league MUST follow the rules set forth, which require the purchase of an out of state roster packet from NJYS, completing it and having it validated PRIOR to the start of our league season. Failure to do so will result in your team not qualifying for your respective state cup and our games being recorded as forfeit wins for your opponents.
US CLUB SOCCER PASSES
U-7 THRU U10: Purchase passes directly from US CLUB
Instructions for obtaining US CLUB passes may be found here.
NJ TEAMS REGISTERING WITH US CLUB SOCCER:
Our USC league is affiliated with US CLUB Soccer. All teams wishing to participate in our league using US CLUB soccer passes may do so and have league games scheduled accordingly. New Jersey teams interested in playing under US CLUB governance (and obtaining US CLUB passes) may do so, but with the exception of U7 through U10 teams, cannot play in the USCL league only. U7 through U10 teams play only under USCL and only need to card with US Club for our league play.
All U11 and older NJ teams must also carry NJYS passes and affiliation for league play under CJYSA and optionally, US CLUB. ALL NJ teams shall show CJYSA (01) as their PRIMARY league on their NJYS roster!
U15 teams: This year we are offering a full fall season for those teams who do not have high school programs at that age group. The season will open September 11/12, 2010. Teams may opt to play a full fall season and spring (full year); or the traditional of the late fall and early spring, or just spring. For those looking to play the full fall season, the dates will be as follows:
09/11-12; 09/18-19; 09/25-26; 10/2-3; 10/16-17; 10/23-24; 10/30-31; 11/6-7; 11/20-21 - Saturdays and/or Sundays. We hope to have enough teams interested to give teams a full 10 game schedule. The calendar on the application cannot accommodate all the additional dates, so teams can indicate their option of the full fall or full year on the application, and add the available dates to the comment section of the application. We will follow up a second time with the registered teams as to availability in advance of scheduling.
